Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor
*Job Summary:*
The Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Supervisor will assist the Sr. E&I Supervisor with all electrical and instrumentation activities under the company scope of work on the project site. Provides technical and administrative expertise with regard to electrical and instrumentation activities to ensure timely and efficient completion of work activities within schedule and budgetary restraints in accordance with project specifications.
* Duties & Essential Job Functions:*
1. Assist with the coordination and organization of activities on the project to avoid interferences in work activities performed by company personnel and contractors as required by site management.
2. Attend daily safety meetings.
3. Direct company personnel and contractors in the proper execution of work activities.
4. Assist in day to day operations of the project.
5. Assist in monitoring the cost of construction regarding performance and productivity.
6. Assure conformance to specifications, drawings, codes and standards.
7. Perform inspections and document activates via the company Quality ITP program.
8. Perform daily inspections.
9. Perform P&ID walk downs.
10. Assist in PSSR walk downs.
11. Monitor Cold Loop Checks, High Voltage Testing, Grounding Checks, Motor Directional Checks, and Instrument Installations to ensure safe and accurate precautions are being taken proper execution of the work is conducted.
12. Implement and enforce job rules
13. Enforce project HSE and Quality requirements and specifications.
14. Assist in the requisition of company supplied tools and materials required to execute the work.
15. Assist in receiving and inspection of materials and equipment.
16. Assist in the development and updating of the necessary schedules to support and accurately reflect the performance and schedule of the project.
17. Resolve conflicts with other disciplines and personnel to ensure proper workflow.
18. Attend meetings as required to ensure good communication between the various entities on the project.
19. Provide support by ensuring supplied materials, equipment, tools and information required to perform the tasks on the project are accurate and available to management in a timely fashion.
* Other Functions and Responsibilities:*
1. Must have good written, verbal communication, and organizational skills.
2. Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and ensure prompt completion of tasks and assignments.
3. Must be a self-starter and able to work independently. Relies on minimal instructions and pre-established guidelines and timetables to perform the functions of the job.
4. Proficient with Microsoft Office products, Internet, and other database programs.
Qualifications:
Required:
1. High School Diploma.
2. Legal Authorization to work in the United States.
3. 5+ Years Electrical and Instrumentation experience in a construction setting.
